JANJA KOMLJENOVIČ

Janja is Lecturer in Higher Education at Lancaster University, UK. Her research interests broadly concern higher education policy and governance, political economy of higher education and the digital economy
She started cooperating with CEPS in 2008 in the project »Thematic review of Tempus structural measures«. Between 2010 and 2013 she was a researcher in the project »Differentiation, Equity, Productivity: the social and economic consequences of expanded and differentiated higher education systems – internationalization aspect« (DEP-08-EuroHESC-OP-016).
In past, she was Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Bristol. She has been also working in higher education policy and practice since 2003 at institutional and national levels in Slovenia, and in the Bologna Process in Europe. She is still active in quality assurance, acting as an evaluator of quality assurance agencies for ENQA (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) and evaluator of universities for national quality assurance agencies.
